Celebrating Thai talent and strengthening educational, media, and cultural connections across the Asia-Pacific region.
The RVi Group proudly supported the 2026 China Daily Campus News Awards, organised by China Daily Asia Pacific and China Daily Hong Kong, and the Changing Asia Photo Exhibition 2026, held at the Shenzhen Research Institute of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Ms Pimpaporn Subthiradej, Head of Communications and Public Relations of The RVi Group, attended the events as The RVi Group representative, joining distinguished guests, media professionals, university representatives, and students from across the Asia-Pacific region.

Supporting Young Talent Through the Campus News Awards
Established in 2012, the Campus News Awards promotes excellence in student journalism, photography, and media production while encouraging international educational and cultural exchange. The 2026 edition marked a significant milestone as universities from Southeast Asia participated for the first time, attracting over 3,000 students from more than 100 universities.
The RVi Group and RVIPS, the Group’s media and communications business unit, actively supported and promoted the Best ASEAN Photography Competition 2026, a category within the Campus News Awards, among universities across Thailand for the first time.
Under the theme “Pulse of Asia-Pacific: Heritage Meets Prosperity in Frame”, the competition encouraged students to capture the connections between cultural heritage, contemporary life, and regional prosperity through photography.
The RVi Group representative also accompanied shortlisted finalists from Thailand to Shenzhen to attend the international awards ceremony.
Celebrating Thai Achievements on the International Stage
Thai university students received outstanding recognition in the Best ASEAN Photography Competition 2026, earning awards across several categories, including the Winner and Merit Awards.
The recognised institutions included King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Prince of Songkla University, Mahidol University, and London Universities at Bangkok Centre, alongside international participants from China and Hong Kong.
Of particular pride to The RVi Group, Phone Myat Thu, a student at London Universities at Bangkok Centre, managed by RVi Institute, received a Merit Award for the photographic work Thai Animist Beliefs in Modern Bangkok, highlighting Thailand’s cultural heritage within a modern urban setting.
This achievement reflects the creativity and potential of students within The RVi Group’s educational network and the importance of providing opportunities for international recognition.

Continuing Support for the Changing Asia Photo Exhibition
On the same day, The RVi Group representative attended the opening of the Changing Asia Photo Exhibition 2026, presented under the theme “Moments of Connection: Smiles and Hands Across Asia-Pacific”.
The RVi Group and RVIPS have supported the exhibition initiative since its debut in Bangkok in 2022, held at CentralWorld during Thailand’s hosting of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting. The exhibition subsequently travelled to Jakarta in 2023, adopted an online format in 2024, and returned to a physical exhibition in Shenzhen in 2026, ahead of the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting.
Through photography and visual storytelling, the initiative continues to celebrate cultural diversity, shared experiences, and meaningful connections across the Asia-Pacific region.
Strengthening Regional Connections and Future Opportunities
The Shenzhen programme also offered participants opportunities to explore technological innovation, including visits to Z·Pilot Black Tech and BYD’s global headquarters, providing valuable exposure to emerging technologies, innovative industries, and developments shaping the region’s future.
The RVi Group takes great pride in supporting opportunities for Thai students to showcase their talents, gain international recognition, and connect with peers across Asia.
Together with RVIPS and its educational partners, The RVi Group remains committed to advancing education, creative excellence, media development, and cross-cultural collaboration, while continuing to create meaningful opportunities for the next generation across the Asia-Pacific region.
